Bueno, hasta el momento llevo 8 meses trabajando de forma totalmente digital, experimentando, probando técnicas, primero dibujando en papel y trazando con tinta como siempre lo he hecho ya que mi motivación eran los comics, para luego digitalizar y colorear, en un principio fue difícil sin una tableta, era casi todo a Mouse, luego vino la tableta y mi vida cambio jaja, después pase a hacer todo digital, boceto, trabajo de línea y coloreado.

Primero el coloreado fue un desafío, el trabajar directamente con colores no me permitía ver que estaba olvidando una aspecto fundamental de la ilustración, el volumen, para solucionar eso, comencé a hacer pruebas, pintando primero escala de grises, así poder trabajar volumen, iluminaciones, texturas y cuanto se me ocurriera y luego preocuparme del color, resulto ser bastante mas sencillo, ya que si no me gustaba el color, simplemente lo cambiaba sin tocar el trabajo anteriormente realizado en la escala de grises.

Ahora me doy cuenta de otra cosa, nooo esto no se termina!! jajaja, en mis ansias de mejorar el coloreado, la iluminación, el volumen, etc, estaba perdiendo algo que tenia en un principio, LA CANTIDAD DE DETALLES DE LA ILUSTRACIÓN, claro, en el proceso de acostumbrarse a trabajar con la tableta, se me estaba olvidando la cantidad y calidad de detalles que había logrado trabajando con papel y lápiz, una cosa por otra, bueno 8 meses es poca practica, pero me sirvió para darme cuenta de lo que en realidad puede llegar a ser mi estilo, que puede ser esto?? un buen trabajo de línea, coloreado en base a escala de grises y detalles directamente en color si es necesario, el otro trabajo que me queda por practicar es el hacer buenos fondos por que no es mi fuerte.

Ahora solo me queda rescatar lo mejor de lo aprendido y seguir aprendiendo por supuesto.

Now I realize something else, nooo it does not stop! hahaha, in my eagerness to improve the coloring, lighting, volume, etc., was missing something that had at first THE DETAILS OF THE ILLUSTRATION, of course, in the process of getting used to working with the tablet, I was forgetting the quantity and quality of detail that was achieved with paper and pencil, one thing for another, well, 8 months is a little practice, but helped me realize what can actually get to be my style, can this be? ? Line a good job, colored based on grayscale and color details directly if necessary, the other work that I have to practice is to make good backgrounds because it is not my strength.

Now I only rescue the best of what they learn and continue learning of course.
